Everything is so... sunshiney -- Life is bizarre lately. Been doing an insane amount of reflection and introspection and trying to make sense of things. It's like being stuck in the hall of mirrors. There are so many angles to everything. You're in a million places all at once. Light falls differently everywhere. So many shades of meaning. Before you enter it, there is just you, only one perceivable you in the entire world. This skin, these eyes, this body... they are the sole witnesses to your existence. They claim you utterly. Then you walk into the room and it's a labyrinth of living, breathing, all-seeing mirrors. Raise your hand, and a million other yous raise their hands in silent greeting. All of a sudden you are duplicated, multiplied, these are like your million other alternate lives in parallel universes, and they will only reach out to touch you if you reach out first. What is there to not love?
This is gonna be our first Christmas with the little critters... Honestly, I can't wait... I don't think we'll get presents for them, but Vittorio will have his favourite seafood, and I think Reuby will get some meat from the butcher for Marzipan. :) They've brought so much joy to our lives... It's hard to think of what we'd do without them. :) Reuby loves Vittorio, which is a stark comparison to the "I don't like cats" stance before this.
